EARTH TO ANVIL
Form the plan through numbers
Equate the path by days
The killing speed of time
Shadows the slow decay
The drip of condemnation
Masked in prosperity
Dictate the epic ruse while freedom rings
A staff of blackened light
Paints hypnotizing scenes
Bewitched patterns of thinking
Calculate coincidental horrors
Deform the guise of growth
While enshrining misery
Pounding with a death crawl force
Perceived as only natural
The drip of condemnation
Masked in prosperity
Dictate the epic ruse while freedom rings
A staff of blackened light
Paints hypnotizing scenes
Bewitched patterns of thinking
Calculate coincidental horrors
Through permeation
Their ideas seed
Blindside the shepherd
Wolves clothed as sheep
Patient to form their ways
To appear as unseen
Swift strikes in slow motion drive the means
Hammering earth to anvil
A silent pounding felt yet unheard
Its influence a mere cunning whisper
Demanding a monument of depraved dependency
The drip of condemnation
Masked in prosperity
Dictate the epic ruse as freedom rings
A staff of blackened light
Paints hypnotizing scenes
Bewitched patterns of thinking
Calculate coincidental horrors
Through permeation
Their ideas seed
Blindside the shepherd
Wolves clothed as sheep
Patient to form their ways
To appear as unseen
Swift strikes in slow motion drive the means
Hammering earth to anvil

Distilled death metal with catchy riffs and well written songs. It's not reinventing the wheel or anything but it's osdm, if that's what you want look elsewhere. grahamy

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
