THE EYE AT THE DIVIDE
Two wrongs wield the might
Right & left hands share a cold embrace
Stabbing the heart's separation despite
These worthless fixations insure its frail beating
Sight melting smokescreens
Foul ear raping lore
Human sinew used as puppet string
Bought & sold as cheap whores
Divide-is the conquering rule
The Eye of the chosen few reigns
Divide-the essence of you
The Eye casts illusions of the game
Vast vision through the blindness
Of the countless players it holds
All screaming at fictional scenes
While the sick plot unfolds
Divide-is the conquering rule
The Eye of the chosen few reigns
Divide-the essence of you
The Eye - warring legions hypnotized by its gaze
Sight melting smokescreens
Foul ear raping lore
Human sinew used as puppet string
Bought & sold as cheap whores
Same faces, different masks
Veiled through the eyes of the lazy & weak
Praising & cursing
The spectrums of the system
Instead of denying
The system itself -DIVIDE

Distilled death metal with catchy riffs and well written songs. It's not reinventing the wheel or anything but it's osdm, if that's what you want look elsewhere. grahamy

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
